The apartment can sleep 3 in two bedrooms. The master bedroom and the open plan lounge/dining room have large windows overlooking the river and the sea while the rather small 2nd bedroom with a single bed has the window to the side. From the breakfast table with chairs, window seats and a couch the coming and going of boats to Looe Harbour, the activities on the beach and in summer sailing, kite surfing and other sport events can be watched. 2 small safe beaches directly at the estuary are just a minute away from the apartment, while along Marine Drive - Hannafore Beach- are mainly rockpools and only small patches of sand. The main beach is in East Looe and can be reached via a small ferry across the river or via the bridge. The popular coastal footpath to Polperro starts at the end of Marine Drive in West Looe. Cafes and restaurants are half way down Marine Drive and in Talland Bay. West Looe has some restaurants, pubs and shops, while East Looe has a larger variaty and many tourists. The bedrooms and the bath are on the lower floor of the apartment,while the open plan lounge/dining room and the modern kitchen with dishwasher are on the upper floor. Due to the steep staircase in the maisionette the apartment is not suitable for children under the age of 4 years. Bad weather? There are many books, DVDs and family games, like Monopoly etc.
Parking the car in summer is a real problem in Looe, but our apartment has its own parking for medium sized cars behind the building, up the cliff with 56 steps! When you arrive you can park opposite the house for a short while to unload and avoid the steps.
